At Power Parts Direct, we aim to dispatch orders quickly and ensure your products arrive safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through our website.
1. Order Processing
- Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
- Orders placed before our daily order cut-off time may be dispatched the same business day, subject to stock availability and payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after the cut-off time, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- Processing times may vary during peak periods, promotional events, or due to supplier delays.
2. Stock Availability
- While we make every effort to maintain accurate stock levels, some products may occasionally become unavailable.
- If an item in your order is out of stock, we may:
- Contact you regarding an expected delivery timeframe;
- Offer a suitable alternative product (where applicable);
- Partially ship available items; or
- Provide a refund for unavailable items.
3. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within Australia.
For international shipping enquiries, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and shipping costs.
4. Shipping Methods
We use reputable freight and courier providers, including but not limited to:
- Australia Post
- StarTrack
- Aramex
- CouriersPlease
- TNT
- Allied Express
- Other suitable freight carriers
The carrier selected will depend on product size, weight, destination, and service availability.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on factors including:
- Delivery location;
- Package dimensions and weight;
- Carrier charges; and
- Any applicable surcharges.
Shipping costs will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed unless otherwise stated.
Power Parts Direct reserves the right to contact customers if additional freight charges apply due to:
- Remote or regional delivery locations;
- Oversized or heavy items;
- Incorrect delivery information provided during checkout; or
- Multiple delivery attempts.
If additional freight charges are required, customers may choose to:
- Pay the additional amount; or
- Cancel the order for a full refund prior to dispatch.
6. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on destination and carrier performance.

Delivery timeframes begin after dispatch and do not include order processing time.
7. Authority to Leave
Where available, customers may authorise parcels to be left unattended at the delivery address.
If Authority to Leave (ATL) is selected:
- The parcel will be considered delivered once left at the nominated location.
- Power Parts Direct and the carrier are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage occurring after delivery.
If ATL is not selected, a signature may be required upon delivery.
8. Delivery Delays
While we endeavour to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including:
- Extreme weather events;
- Natural disasters;
- Transport disruptions;
- Industrial action;
- Carrier delays;
- Supplier delays; or
- High seasonal demand.
Power Parts Direct is not liable for losses resulting from shipping or delivery delays.
9. Tracking Information
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and arranging collection or redelivery where required.
10. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate and complete at the time of ordering.
If an incorrect address is supplied:
- Additional freight charges may apply;
- Delivery delays may occur;
- Orders may be returned to sender; and
- Re-delivery fees may be payable before the order is resent.
Power Parts Direct is not responsible for losses arising from incorrect address information provided by customers.
11. Lost, Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or appears lost in transit:
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Provide your order number and any supporting photographs where applicable.
- We will investigate the matter with the carrier.
Claims for damaged or missing goods should be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
12. Large, Heavy or Special Freight Items
Certain products may:
- Require pallet freight;
- Require forklift access;
- Require commercial delivery addresses; or
- Incur additional freight charges.
Where special delivery arrangements are necessary, we will contact you before dispatch.
13. Delivery Refusal or Failed Delivery
If a delivery is refused or cannot be completed due to customer circumstances, including:
- Incorrect address details;
- Failure to collect from a depot;
- Failure to arrange access; or
- Repeated failed delivery attempts,
the order may be returned to us.
Any return freight, storage, or re-delivery costs incurred may be deducted from any refund or charged before re-dispatch.
14. Risk and Ownership
Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated delivery address.
Ownership of goods remains with Power Parts Direct until full payment has been received.
15. Click & Collect (If Available)
Where Click & Collect is offered:
- Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.
- Valid identification may be required upon collection.
- Orders must be collected within a reasonable period after notification.
Power Parts Direct reserves the right to cancel and refund uncollected orders after an extended period.
